ZULU is a community-driven protocol with ZU holders being the collective stewards of the MTV and the ZULU ecosystem. ZU holders have skin in the game as the direct beneficiaries and risk bearers of MTV performance, aligning ZU holders and zUSD holders to ensure a productive ecosystem.

Value Accrual

If the protocol is overcollateralized, zUSD is minted and used to benefit ZU stakers.

Protocol Revenue

The protocol can become overcollateralized through the MTV appreciating in value or earning yield, both of which increase the total value of the MTV and put the protocol in an overcollateralized state. In this case, zUSD is minted and passed on to eZU stakers.
